The Oklahoma Coaches Association allows a maximum of two players from one school to be chosen for their all-state team. In the 2014 season, the Guthrie football program maxed out their all-state capabilities.

Guthrie sweeps El Reno to open their season

The Guthrie Public Schools Board of Education approved the recommendation of Jon Chappell to serve as interim athletic director for the BlueJays. The recommendation came from Superintendent Dr. Mike Simpson during Monday’s regular Board of Education meeting.

Haynes, Stevenson-Ballard help The Rim win first tournament of the season 

Coming off of a successful football season, the combination quarterback-receiver duo started their basketball season off right.  The future Bluejays, Zayn Haynes (#11) and Kaiden Ballard-Stevenson (#12) helped their team, The Rim, win their first basketball tournament of the season this past weekend. Both boys are 6th graders at G.U.E.S.
