Guthrie Lady Jay and senior-to-be Alexis Daniels is
helping lead her AAU basketball team to the AAU National Championship
Tournament this July 10th through the 16th. Daniels and the Showtime Hoops team won the 2009 AAU State Championship and will be rewarded by playing in the national tournament in Orlando, Flordia. "She is truly a remarkable young lady as well as a really good basketball player," AAU coach Howard Morris said. "Alexis will definitely play at the next level," he continued. Morris also pointed out that Daniels is currently taking two college courses at Oklahoma State University. Daniels is the daughter of LaCerro Daniels and Ronald Johnson and according to her bio enjoys cooking, reading, shopping, and playing basketball. Daniels also mentions her goals of playing Division I basketball and attend law school after high school. |
