Shelley Berryman named Lady Jay softball coach

Guthrie softball has a new coach and they did not have to look very far.

Shelley Berryman will take over the Lady Jay softball program immediately and just in time for summer softball. Berryman has been in the Guthrie school system as a teacher and has already begun practice with her new squad.

The softball team will participate in the Perry summer league. The summer portion of the schedule will begin next week and will run through the end of June before the school season starts for the 2008 campaign in August.
