The Guthrie Lady Jay softball could not get anything going offensively against the Blackwell Maroons Wednesday. Guthrie not only went down 11-1, but did not collect a single hit in the Perry Summer League.
Guthrie falls to 2-2 in the league, but could get back over the .500 mark with three games on Monday with Morrison, Ponca City, and a team to be named. The first game starts at 5:00.
Blackwell took a 1-0 after two innings, but the Lady tied the score up with a run of their own in the top half of the third inning, but then Blackwell opened up the game in the home half of the third inning.
The Lady Maroons after it was all said and done scored nine times on just three hits, but the biggest factor in the game was eight errors in the game.
