For the second time in three events this young golf season, Mike Longstreth's Guthrie Lady Jays have another second place finish. This time in their own back yard.
In the Guthrie Invitational held back on March 12th, Guthrie finished runner-up to last seasons state champions in the Duncan Demons. The Invitational was held at Guthrie's Aqua Canyon.
Seniors Tiffany Reaves and Bailey Trimberger help lead the way for a third place finish in the Deer Creek Invitational at the beautiful Rose Creek Golf and Country Club last Thursday. Ahead of the Lady Jays was El Reno winning the tourney followed by Clinton.
Other team members include sophomore Kacey Acker and freshmen Kelsey Walker.
The Lady Jays will be back in action on Monday in Cushing at the Cushing Golf and Country Club.
