The Lady Jay golf team and the rest of Oklahoma had to deal with brutal wins on the golf course yesterday on the first day of the state tournament.
Guthrie and Class 5A are playing the the Surrey Hills Golf Course in Yukon where Duncan has a 10 hole advantage over Altus.
Guthrie was led by Kacey Acker with a score of 98 followed by Tiffany Reaves 109, Kelsey Walker 123, and Bailey Trimberger 129.
Lady Jays head coach Mike Longstreth and the team will hit the course on Friday for day 2.
