The BlueJay wrestling team picked up an easy 69-10 win over Northwest Classen, Tuesday evening, to improve to 4-1 in duals this season.

The 10th ranked Jays (dual ranking) took advantage of six pins and five forfeits in the win.

The most anticipated match of the night came at 215 with Northwest's top ranked wrestler in Class 5A, Micahel Anderson, and second ranked Landry Chappell.

The senior Anderson and sophomore Chappell collided, but in the end Anderson got a 14-5 major decision on the underclassmen.

Justin Ball, Ryan Kitch, Bryan Dutton, David Bryant, and Michael Conner all received forfeits.

At 112, Jared Ball picked up a 5-2 win in the only match that went the distance.

Camden Helm, Kolt Rinehart, Jeff Russell, Devin Bilyeu, Tanner Goddard, and John Davison all pinned their opponents.

Guthrie returns back to the home mat Thursday when they take on Piedmont before heading to the Chickasha Tournament this weekend. To view the complete schedule and results click here.
