Guthrie finishes third in Metro Tournament

Three Jays bring home top honors and are preparing for the 5A regionals

While the BlueJay Wrestling squad await the 5A regional tournament, to be held in Claremore

at the end of the month, they participated in the Metro Tournament Saturday afternoon.

The Jays placed third overall this weekend behind Southmoore and El Reno. Choctaw finished

fourth and Putnam City rounded out the top five.

Senior Kolt Rinehart (130), Bryan Dutton (140), and Michael Conner (171) all came away

with the top finish in their division.

Timothy O'Connor (103) finished second and Landry Chappell (215) brought home a fourth

place finish.
