GHS sophomore Blake Belcher and freshmen Richard Brothers recently attended the Schuman's National Underclassmen Combine and both have been asked to attend the Ultimate 100 Camp.

The NUC, held at Tulsa Memorial, teamed up with Rivals.com and Maxpreps.com and provides exposure for athlete's to get their name out there early in the recruiting process for all levels of college football.

40% of the athletes that have attend the Ultimate 100 football camp have received D-1 scholarship offers. The highest percentage of any program in the USA. The camp will be in Duncanville, TX.

Belcher was named the Overall Most Valuable Player for the offensive linemen and Brothers, the younger brother of current junior Kentrell Brothers, was named Overall 8th grade Top Attendee. To read the first GSP story on Belcher and Brothers at the combine click here.

Something cooking in Guthrie

By: SoonerScoop.com

Richard Brothers picIt's only been a few years since Kye Staley emerged from Guthrie, Okla. but it seems that head coach Rafe Watkins may have a few more prize pupils coming down the pike in the 2012 and 2013 classes.

As a program known to play to it's talents more so than making square pegs fit into round holes it might be safe to assume that the Bluejays could be airing it out in the coming years with a freshman receiver already putting up solid testing numbers and standing at 6-foot-2, and 165-pounds.

The future star is standout Richard Brothers (pictured left) who not only tested well but made big plays against older players throughout the one-on-one drills. It's impossible to know just how highly Brothers will project for the coming years but he is certainly a guy who could be making plays in the not so distant future.

And while his quarterback, whomever that may be, is dropping back to complete passes there is little doubt who will be protecting the left edge of the offensive line, that player figures to be 2012 prospect Blake Belcher (pictured right). The 6-foot-5, 250-pound offensive tackle has a huge frame and figures to only keep growing as he continues to mature. He needs to continue to work on his feet and lateral movement but to a degree that figures to develop naturally over time.

Both players have a long way to go but Brothers and Belcher both have the look of future division one football players if their work rate and talent continue to grow.
