The Guthrie BlueJays, who are Class 5A's back-to-back state champions will start their new season December 15 when they travel to Shawnee for their first regular season conference game. Meanwhile, the Lady Jays will kick their season off with the Norman North Tournament that starts on December 10.

The complete varsity, freshmen, and junior high basketball schedule's can be found on the home page on Guthrie Sports Page.

Both Guthrie squads will not see their home court until January 12, 2010 when they entertain the El Reno Indians.

The Lady Jays have picked up the Norman North tourney after Duncan dropped their tourney, but will remain in the Chickasha and Miami Tournaments come January.

The BlueJays will keep their tournament schedule the same from a year ago with the Ardmore, McGuinness, and Carl Albert tournaments. Guthrie has won back-to-back Ardmore Holiday Festival Tournaments as well as winning last years McGuinness tourney. The Carl Albert tournament looks stacked, once again, as the Jays won that tourney back in 2008 and finished third last year.

Guthrie plays just six home games this season along with six regular season, conference games on the road in addition to their 9-tournament games.
