'09 BB All State
The Guthrie BlueJay basketball team was represented by Keaton Callins (left), Coach Pete Papahronis (center), and Donte' Foster (right) in the 2009 All State basketball game at ORU.

Keaton Callins and Donte' Foster have done a lot of great things growing up as friends and now you can add one more item to the growing list.

The duo played possibly played their last competitive event as teammates in the 2009 Large School All-State basketball game, Thursday evening inside the Mabee Center.

Foster and Callins helped the West cruise to a 86-60 win over the East. BlueJay head coach Pete Papahronis helped the team by serving as an assistant coach.

Foster chipped in with 7-points while Callins added 2-points in the win, but the 9-points combined will not be what the fans, inside the Mabee Center, will remember.

As BlueJay fans have seen on the football field and basketball court for the last two years, it showed up in Tulsa. BlueJay style. Callins to Foster.

Callins threw Foster an alley hoop who flushed it down to send the crowd to their feet. Maybe, not their best.

Many, many fans rank the Callins pass off the glass to Foster in the Area Tourney, in 2008, to put the final touches on the Harrah Panthers at the top of the list.

Regardless, the duo have left their mark on the GHS history books and now will look to do the same in different sports at different schools.

Callins is headed to Northwestern Oklahoma State to compete for the quarterback job and Foster will attend Seminole State to join the Trojans basketball team.
