The Guthrie BlueJay baseball team had planned on two baseball games on the final day of regional play, but the Carl Albert Titans had different plans.
The Titans used an 11-1 five inning run rule to punch their ticket to next week's 5A State Tournament, in Tulsa. The Jays had to win both games to advance.
Guthrie ends their season, for the third straight season at Carl Albert, with a 19-17 2009 record. |
