Cotton, Crockett land on Big All City list

Guthrie junior's make the Oklahoman's All City baseball list

Guthrie senior's to be John Cotton and Corbin Crockett made the Oklahoman's Big All City baseball list in their annual awards.

Cotton was named to the reserve list and Crockett was named honorable mention.

 

Cotton batted .440 with 44 hits in 100 at bats this season and was second in homeruns with 14 according to the numbers that were supplied to the state's largest newspaper. Cotton finished the season with 40 runs batted in.

 

Crockett led the city area with 41 stolen bases. The shortstop also served as the team's closer and go to guy in the bull pen.

 

Guthrie finished their season for the third straight year in the Carl Albert regional.
