2010 Season arrives today; packed stadium expected

Regardless of what preseason publication you may read, the Guthrie BlueJays and Duncan Demons are expected to make deep playoff runs. Perhaps a preview of another post season battle will take place in week one Friday night.

Gary Boxley inducted into Hall of Fame
Gary Boxley Guthrie High School's athletic director and track coach was named to the Oklahoma Track Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Boxley becomes the first person from Guthrie to be inducted into the hall. Boxley and Clay Tarter led the Guthrie Track program to their first state championship. Boxley graduated from Kingfisher HS where he still holds the pole vault record.
